In olden times, the Freemen were a guild of architects who contstructed cities and streets. But they have since grown into the architects of a nation. This brotherhood takes the best and brightest men of society and carves them into the leaders of tomorrow, using a series of secret rituals and tests of will, called Degrees.
Many of the most influential politicians in the Capitol District are Freemen themselves; their signs and symbols adorn the layout of the city. Anti-federal skeptics believe that this is so pervasive that the Brotherhood of the Freemen practically acts as a shadow government that need not answer to the people, a stabilizing authoritarian hand should the experiment of democracy waver.
Special Notes: Being the urbanites that they are, considering that political influence doesn't work so well on trees, Freemen are best utilized defending villages or forts, with their defense taking a hit in rural areas. They can also be upgraded into leader units, though they can't be upgraded back.Praecipuum Oppugnationes a procul huius unitatis magicae sunt et semper probabilitatem bonam habent ferendi adversarios.
